I always knew Aleigh's older sister Erin and Jacob and Tysan. They grew up kiddy korner from our house on Pine St. They went to Donna Barker's house when Sue dropped them off so she could go to work. I got to know the kids really well, and they moved by the time Aleigh was in the picture. I remember at Michele Mika's house, Erin and Jacob told me, "See, Debbie, that is our baby sister". And I looked and I saw someone holding a baby wrapped up in a blanket. Then one day, at Ben Franklin, I saw this 3 year old little girl, going around picking up everything in the store! And Juliet Patterson told her about one item. "That's $10! Do you got $10?" And she looked at her like "get it for me" lol but she had to put it back ! lol So I put $10 in a card in an envelope just for Aleigh Ok Aleigh, that is yours!

That's how I remember my cousin Aleigh was going to her mother's witch parties, Anytime I'd see her and go to say " hi, how are you?" She was very nice and never had any airs about her, she is one of my many Langenburg cousins that I don't see too often and to see her at those parties was awesome and i just remember how sweet she was and she had that beautiful smile. She will be greatly missed by all

Aleigh and I rode the same school bus for years. I am a few years older than her but always remember her laughing and smiling on the bus. I don't think she ever really knew a "stranger". It was a loss for the small community and something we'll never understand. Sometimes the good ones are taken early because heaven needed them more than we need them here. I can only imagine her laughter and smiles have touched so many here on earth that heavens gates were open and ready to preserve her good nature. May her family find peace in knowing her soul was saved.

We will miss seeing Aleigh jog by our house and our dog, Slugger, will miss greeting her in the middle of the road where Aleigh always stopped and gave Slugger a pat or two on the head. We came to know Aleigh this past summer through the D14 Family Enduro Series. She began running some of the races with our cousins the Woodwards. We soon looked forward to these races so that we would again see Aleigh and Des. She always made us smile and we were so impressed with her determination and her drive to improve. I didn’t know Aleigh a long time but for the time I did know her she grew on me. We became very close, she was one of my best friends. As we became closer I started to meet a lot of her friends and some family. She cared so much for everyone around her, of course all her animals, and always had your back no matter what. Aleigh helped me through some hard times and she always knew what to say to make you feel better. There are so many great memories we had together and there were many more to be made. I will miss going to the gravel pits on almost a daily basis in the summer with her, singing Conway Twitty with her and dancing like fools wherever the night took us. All of Aleighs family and friends are in my prayers, we are all going to miss her very much and nobody will ever forget such a wonderful person. We’ll never know why God took such a beautiful individual away from us so early but we know she’ll watch over us. I will always love her and never forget the good times we had.
