Sorry to hear of another ole’ friend passing. I had the opportunity to play ball both with and against Al. In High School, we were on different teams. We played Legion Ball together on the Teamsters which Orville coached. Played together on Port Huron Business Service and Sam and Joes with Al. In 1966 we were both named as honorable mention for the All EML Team. What a great guy! Rest in peace my friend.

LuAnn I hope you know how much the 2 of you meant to me. I loved Al's sense of humor. He was such a caring and generous man. I have fond memories of when his health was better and we would go up north together. He introduced Tom and I to the Turkey Roost and you know where that is right on the way too. You are such a good true friend to so many of us. Please lean on us when you feel the need to. I speak for many of your friends. We will be here for you! Good bye Big Al you most definitely made my life richer with you in it. I'll always remember the Bock Bock every time I called or came over. I'm sorry that you didn't make it till our date to sit on the porch and watch Lulu plant flowers. But on May 15 I will be on your front porch watching her work thinking of you. RIP Big Al you deserve the beautiful journey you are on now. I hope you are enjoying the visit with your parents your brother and other family members as I know family was so very important to you! RIP
